In school, a couple of my classmates mentioned about molecules. So I thought I find out more about it and post it here.
What are molecules?Molecules are small particles that make up all living and non-living things. They are made up of even tinier particles called atoms. If you compare an atom to the diameter of your strand of hair, the strand of hair is millions time bigger than an atom. Molecules in living things are made from only about 25 of more than 100 known atoms in the universe. Molecules are made from as few as two atoms to hundreds of million of atom.
What's so special about molecules?? Each molecules has a unique shape that allows it to interact with other molecules. This also keeps all living creatures alive.
