Hydrogen Bombs

Weapon whose enormous explosive power is generated by the nuclear fusion of hydrogen isotopes. The high temperatures required for the fusion reaction are produced by detonating an atonmic bomb.

The bomb's explosion produces a blast that can destroy structures within a radius of several miles, an intense white light that can cause blindness, and heat fierce enough to set off firestorms. It also creates radioactive fallout that can poison living creatures and contaminate air, water, and soil.

What is Orbital Theory?

Molecular orbital theory is a method for determining molecular structure in which electrons are not assigned to individual bonds between atoms, but are treated as moving under the influence of the nuclei in the whole molecule.

In this theory, each molecule has a set of molecular orbitals, in which it is assumed that the molecular orbital wave function ψf may be written as a simple weighted sum of the n constituent atomic orbitals χi, according to the following equation:

Isotopes

What is an Isotope?

It is one of two or more atoms having the same atomic number but different mass numbers.

Isotopes are different types of atoms of the same chemical element , each having a different number of neutrons. Correspondingly, isotopes differ in mass number but not in atomic number. The difference in the number of nucleons comes from a difference how many neutrons are in the atomic nucleus. The number of protons is the same because that is what characterizes a chemical element.

Atoms

What are atoms?









Atoms are the basic building blocks of ordinary matter. Atoms can join together to form molecules, which in turn form most of the objects around you.

Atoms are composed of particles called protons, electrons and neutrons . Protons carry a positive electrical charge, electrons carry a negative electrical charge and neutrons carry no electrical charge at all.

The protons and neutrons cluster together in the central part of the atom, called the nucleus, and the electrons 'orbit' the nucleus. A particular atom will have the same number of protons and electrons and most atoms have at least as many neutrons as protons.

Digestive System

Questions:

1. Which food, cooked or raw, is better for our body?

Answer:



















It is raw food.


When raw foods are exposed to temperatures above 118 degrees, they start to rapidly break down. Enzymes break down food and digest our food.

Once enzymes are exposed to heat, they are no longer able to provide its function. The damaged enzyme would then result in chronic illness. Thus requiring us to make our own enzymes to process the food.

Digestion of cooked food demands much more energy than the digestion of raw food. While raw food is so much more easily digested when it passes through the digestive tract.

But is cooked food healthy for our body?











No. Eating cooked food places a burden on your pancreas and other organs and overworks them, which eventually exhausts these organs. Many people gradually impair their pancreas and progressively lose the ability to digest their food after a lifetime of ingesting processed foods.

Circulatory System

Right Atrium - receives blood from the upper and lower body. It is the larger of the two atria, having very thin walls. The right atrium opens into the right ventricle through the right tricuspid valve. Valves prevent the back flow of blood.

Right ventricle - pumps the blood to the lungs to be reoxygenated.

Left atrium - receives blood from the lungs via the four pulmonary veins. It is smaller than the right atrium, but has thicker walls. The valve between the left atrium and the left ventricle, the left bicuspid valve, is smaller than the tricuspid. It opens into the left ventricle.

Left ventricle - pumps the blood throughout the body.

Aorta - the largest artery in the body, which originates from the left ventricle.

Heart















The heart is nothing more than a pump, composed of muscles which pumps blood throughout the body. It beats around 72 times per minute of our lives. The heart pumps the blood, which carries all the vital materials to help our bodies function and removes the waste products that are not need.

Electricity

~Electricity is a form of energy that result from the flow of electrical charged particles.

Voltmeter and Ammeter - Series or Parallel?

Voltage and Voltmeter














Voltage - is the potential different across any two points is the amount of energy needed to move one unit of charge of electricity from one point to another. It is measured in Volts, V.

Therefore, it has to be connected in Parallel in order to measure the potential difference.

Current and Ammeter














Electrical Current - is the rate of flow of electrical charge. The path that it flows through it is known is the circuit.

Thus the ammeter would need to be connected in series so that it will accurately measure the amount of current flowing through.
